If you ever get a chance to travel Utah 14 between Cedar City and Panguitich, Utah, do it! The scenery is breathtaking and worth the extra time. On the other hand, if you want to head straight for this shop, it is located about 20 miles from Interstate 15 and a wonderful find. Owner Donna Gray opened the shop in 2020, Covid and all, and has been serving the area since then. The outside is deceptive – there are over 7,000 bolts of fabric here!
Fabrics are arranged by collection, which makes picking fabrics for a quilt a breeze. There are solids and blenders, and an entire wall of various ombres. Large and small prints are also featured. Fabric lines include Ruby Star, QT, Benartex, Liberty, Pop!, Moda, and Riley Blake, to name a few. Shannon Cuddle is available in 60″ and 90″ widths. There is a nice selection of flannels and precuts, including Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs. I saw fabrics here that I had not seen anywhere else. Wide backings to complete your project are also on hand. There is a large selection of panels, including several National Park panels, with collections of parks of featuring a single national park.
Samples have kits, and there are a lot of them to be admired. There are also quilt kits and patterns available. The shop also carries yarn and embroidery floss, so check these out while you’re visiting. Edge to Edge Long Arm Quilting is available; please contact the shop directly for pricing and lead times.
I would plan to spend at least twenty-five to forty minutes here.
