Located just over thirteen miles from Interstate 39/Interstate 90, this well established shop has been responding to the changing needs of their local area since 1975. Owner Julie Hendrickson and her shop were featured in American Patchwork & Quilting as one of the Top 10 shops in the country in 2001,so you know this is not a shop to be missed! Miss Julie is also a designer for Windham Fabrics.
Fabrics rule the roost here, with a wonderful collection of solids by Diamond Textiles. There is also a great selection of blenders, so you can pick out one or more of the beautiful large and small prints and start building your quilt. If you enjoy Civil War or 30’s Reproduction fabrics, these are available as well. There are also flannels, and Cuddle in 60″ widths. Check out the selection of wool and Fat Quarter packs as well. With over 2,000 bolts on hand, something is bound to want to follow you home!
There are delightful samples on display, and unless someone has just purchased the last one, they all have kits. Kits are assembled in house, so one can be put together if necessary. Check out the great selection of patterns available; some of these were designed and tested in house.
I would plan to be here for at least twenty to forty minutes.
