This charming shop is directly across the street from Walla Walla Sew, Vac, & Spas, although I didn’t realize it at the time. I do review the shops in the order I visit, so Stash ended up between the two shops. It is located just over a mile from US 12, and owner Lois Duncan has been serving the area for over 20 years.
There are wonderful fabrics here, with a different selection than the shop across the way. Look for tone on tones, solids, and blenders. Plain grunge is available, as well as some batiks. Large and small prints are also on hand. Panels, Jelly Rolls, and flannels are also on hand. Clever use of space allows this shop to carry over 1,000 bolts of fabric in a relatively small area.
Look for a large collection of three yard quilt kits, as well as burps and bibs and some completed quilts. Table runners are available as samples and kits, with a nice selection of patterns available. Don’t miss the books! The shop has used all available space for fabric, so samples are hung above shelves and limited to smaller items. Don’t let that stop you from visiting! I would plan to spend fifteen to thirty minutes here.
