Located less than a mile from Interstate 64, this fun shop opened as a business in 1994. Owners Michelle Hill and Lynn Dunlap turned it into a brick an d mortar operation in 2005, and have been serving the community ever since. It is both a quilting fabric source, and a sales, service, and training center for Handi Quilter Long Arm and Domestic Sewing machines. Accuquilt GO systems and dies are also available.
There are well over 1,000 bolts of fabric available here. Styles include solids and blenders, as well as wonderful large and small prints. Don’t miss the batiks and wide backings! There is also Christmas fabric, including 60″ Minkee, and flannels. Northcott and Marcus Brothers fabrics are also on hand. Just for fun, ends, sample swatch packs, and other odds and ends are sold by the pound. I picked up some animal cutouts with adhesive backing just for fun, for less than $2.00. There are also samples and patterns for Laurel Birch Bags.
This pattern is Chandelier, by Jenny Doan at Missouri Star, and is a free download, and yes, I downloaded it! It is one of many samples on display, and patterns are available for them. Many are also class samples. Speaking of classes, please check online for the schedule, dates, and pricing.
Need any rulers or notions? Creative Grids rulers, Accuquilt Go systems, and an assortment of threads including Isocord, Aurifil, and Gutterman, are also available.
I would plan to spend at least thirty to forty-five minutes here.
