I’m back on home turf for the winter, and I found this wonderful shop on the way back from New Albany. It is less than a mile from US 36, where owner Denise Guthrie has been serving the local area for years, and continues to find ways to keep service personal in spite of Covid and everything else we’ve been dealing with lately.
There is a lot of fabric here. I estimated at least 1,500 bolts, but that is a minimum. There are a LOT of Stack-n-Whack candidates, as well as smaller prints. Blender, solids, and tone on tones are in house, as well as plain Grunge. Batiks are present and accounted for, and the fabric is sorted by colors. This makes matching to prints wonderfully easy. There is also a great selection of Charm Packs, Layer Cakes, Fat Quarter, and Fat Eighth bundles. Christmas fabric is available year round, so you can start your holiday projects whenever you have the time to work on them. Don’t forget to check out the sale fabrics toward the back – my friend and I got some wonderful deals! I’m working in infecting her with Quilt-pox, so she’s stash building and working on her second quilt!
