Quilting Up North Port Wing, Wisconsin

Owner Tammy Callahan runs this delightful shop in what used to be a Catholic Church. Built in 1896, the building was left empty when parishes were combined , and for the last three years has been a quilt shop. It’s about 25 miles north of Route 2, and the drive back to Route 2 is along the lake shore and absolutely beautiful.

There is a great selection of fabrics here, over 1,200 bolts. The Wisconsin Shop Hop was in process, so I was able to pick up the fabric set for that – beautiful pastel prints! There are solids and blenders, a collection of tone on tones, and plain Grunge. Batiks are well represented, as are both large and small prints. Panels are available, as well as jelly rolls. Pillowcase kits, quilt kits, and wool kits are in many patterns are here as well.

Each shop makes a sample from the Shop Hop fabrics; the one for this shop is at the right. As you can see, the fabrics are gorgeous! It is only one of the many samples to be seen here. There are patterns for the samples, and kits for many of them. If you love the pattern but not the fabrics in the kit, buy the pattern and pick fabrics to make your own “kit!”

Long arm services are available. Pricing and instructions are available on the website. Please read through them, and call the shop with any questions. If you are shipping your quilt to be finished, please contact the shop prior to shipping, so the shop can give you current lead times and watch for your package.

Please plan to be here at least 25 to 30 minutes.
