Located just under two miles from Interstate 84, this unique shop is both a quilt shop and a hot tub store. Owners Sandy and Greg Gross have combined the best of two worlds! You can sew until your back and shoulders give out, then relax in the hot tub awhile, and then get out, dry off, and do it all again! Just for fun, they also sell Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking sewing machines, and repair just about all makes in house. More on that later…
There are wonderful fabrics here, from solids and blenders to tone on tones and batiks. Don’t miss the great selection of large and small prints, many quite tempting for Stack-n-Whack. There are wide backing is both 108″ cotton and 90″ Cuddle. Check out the panels while you’re looking around, and look for the flannels. Fat quarters are stored with the bolts, so if you only need a little, they are easy to find. All told, there are over 2,000 bolts of quilting fabric in the shop to tempt you. Do check out the antique toys and sewing machines on top of the shelves!
Samples are all made in house, and all have kits, so check them out and see which ones want to follow you home. Many are displayed on the hot tub samples, so you can get a really good look at them – the quilts AND the hot tubs!
As I mentioned earlier, the shop sells both Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking machines, so do check them out as well. Cards are available for local long arm services. I would plan at least twenty to forty minutes here.
