Located less than four miles from the Trans Canada Highway (MB-1), this shop is very much a sewing machine store. Owner Elizabeth MacKay is the licensed Bernina Dealer for all of Manitoba. She does carry some Kona Cottons, but the main focus is machines and accessories.
Bernina machines from the smaller Bernette to Embroidery Systems to Long Arm Systems are all available here. Mettler Embroidery threads to go with your embroidery machine are also on hand here, as are tools and notions to help the quilter. I enjoyed just looking at the gadgets and figuring out how they work and where I could use them! Of course, you can also have your machine serviced here.
I have never seen so many sewing machine feet in one place, so if you are looking for a specialty foot do call or stop in. If Miss Elizabeth doesn’t have it, chances are she’ll be able to get it! Long arm systems are also on hand here; classes for new owners are available on all of the machines.
