The shop is located just 13 miles from Highway 36, and owners Pat Chatman and Lynne Miller opened the shop after doing multiple shop hops together and ending up discussing, “If we had a shop, we’d…. ” after each shop they visited. They finally decided to go for it – in the middle of COVID restrictions and shipping delays, so it took months to get enough fabric on hand to open last November. Fixtures came from Pickler’s Wagon, an area shop that had recently closed.
Although this shop is not officially on the Highway 36 Quilt trail this year, they probably will be next year! They were not open yet during the planning stages for 2021, but two of the shops I visited that are on the trail told me about this shop and suggested I visit them.
There were over 500 bolts of fabric in house when I visited, with more coming in daily. Selections include solids and blenders, Grunge, and batiks. Small and large prints are also available. Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, and Layer cakes are stocked as well. Look for the panels – there are some great ones, with more of these on the way as well.
There are some great samples on display in the shop, many with kits and patterns. Be sure to check these out – the study of the horse at the right is simply gorgeous in person!
Long Arm Services are available; please call the shop for pricing and lead times. The machine is set up in the shop, so you can stop in and see what is on the rails and see the machine in action.
Finally, do greet the two shop mascots! They are quite friendly, and the senior is busy training the pup to be a greeter. They are also well behaved; when told to settle they both did so immediately – I wish my kids had been as responsive when they were toddlers!
Plan to spend twenty to thirty minutes here.

Stop back on Thursday as the North American Shop Hop continues on the Highway 36 Quilt Trail!
This is a great shop! Lynn and Pat are so friendly and helpful – and those two greeters are the best! They do a great job with the long arm and I love to visit them. Stop by if you get the chance.
