Located just one and one half miles from Interstate 5, this fun shop is owned by Susie Meyers and has been serving the local community for the last 12 years. One of the customers in the shop when I visited said it was, “My fun place. I’m always laughing here!” The name came from a love of paisley prints and ducks, and you will see little rubber ducks throughout the shop – I have never seen so many designs on a rubber ducky!
It isn’t just ducks – there are over 2,000 bolts of fabric here. Fat quarters are stored near the bolts they were cut from , so if you love the fabric but only need a little, the fat quarters are right there. Fabric selections include lots of Kaffe Fassett, solids and blenders, and a great selection of batiks. There are large and small prints, and a nice selection of wool for those who are able to work with it. I love how wool applique looks, but I have to choose between breathing and touching wool, and breathing always win! I do admire it from afar, though. The shop also carries Layer Cakes, Charm Packs, and Jelly Rolls.

Don’t miss the large collection of samples on display. Patterns are available for all and kits are available for most of them. They range from collages by B J Designs and Patterns to patterns designed in house by Miss Susie herself. Some also have classes offered.
There is also a great selection of both new and vintage buttons. Plan at least twenty minutes here; it took me almost an hour to see everything – and of course to talk with folks and admire their projects!
