Located less than two miles from Interstate 5, south of Seattle, this wonderful shop has been serving the area for 40 years, under several different owners. The current owner, Morgan Moon, purchased the shop with her husband on 2017. She had worked at the shop under the previous owner for five years, and went from not even knowing how to thread a needle to a full time shop owner and quilter.
10,000 plus bolts of fabric make this a shop you can’t miss. Start with the wall of Kaffe Fassett. I’d estimate there are between 750 to 1,000 bolts just from this designer. The remainder of the shop is sorted by color, and features solids, blenders, batiks, large and small prints, and tone on tones. There are also fat quarter bundles, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs. Many precuts also have yardage of the same fabric. Make sure you don’t miss the panels, children’s prints, flannel, and Washington University fabrics, as well as the great selection of wide backs, many in bright patterns.
Kits are available with fabrics selected by the shop, or you can switch them out for your own choices. There is also a great selection of samples to admire, and many have both patterns and kits. Laurie Heine Collage patterns and kits are also available.
Long arm services are also available; please cal the shop for pricing and lead times.
Please plan to be in this shop for at least 30 to 45 minutes.
