Located just about five miles from Interstate 94, this shop has been serving the local area for over 30 years. Jamie and Lee Mossige sell and service sewing machines, and they also have fabric – lots of beautiful fabric!
With over 1,500 bolts on hand, you are sure to find something that you need or want. Selections include solids and blenders, and wonderful tone on tones. There are also large and small prints, and some wonderful wide backings. If you like ombres, there is a shelf of them, from Gypsy Soul to Bohemian Rhapsody to Jewel Scape. There are also panels, batting, and backings for your machine embroidery projects.
I love this embroidery sampler! You really do need to make mistakes to learn – no one always gets it right the first time! This is just one of the many samples on display. There is also a great selection of Isacort, Mettler, Sulky 30 weight, and Sulky embroidery threads. Clothing and quilting patterns are both available. Classes are also available for a wide range of skill levels. Check out the class list out online, but please call to register – online registration keeps losing people!
The shop is a dealer for Brother machines, and repairs most brands. Please call if you have a machine that needs some TLC. Don’t forget to greet Lady, the shop mascot. She’s a rescue and a bit shy, but she is a sweetie. I would plan to be here for twenty to forty minutes.
