Located just under twelve miles from Interstate 44, this wonderful shop started eleven years ago as a log arm business, and has grown into a wonderful quilt shop that still offers long arm services. Owner Beth Soward has grown a shop that is a certified Kimberbell location, teaches long arm quilting, and offers Accuquilt cutting systems.
First, let’s talk fabric! The view from the front door is stunning. There are fabrics displayed everywhere you look, not to mention completed quilts. Fabrics include Civil War reproductions by Kansas Troubles, where every fabric coordinates, no matter what year. Solids and blenders are available to coordinate with the prints. There is a collection of wonderful tone on tones. Large prints (think Stack-n-Whack) are here, and small prints and batiks as well. Over 200 different wide cotton backings are available, as is 90″ Cuddle. Don’t miss the Kaffe Fassett and Northcott gradations! A selection of Oklahoma sports fabrics is also available. There is a section that is all things patriotic, and half yard cuts are stocked near the parent bolts. With over 3,000 bolts on hand, you are sure to find several friends to follow you home!
As mentioned, there are samples on display throughout the shop. This one was in process in the classroom area, but it was so pretty I had to take a picture. The shop generally has two Block of the Month groups running in parallel. There are kits for samples and other quilts, and a nice selection of patterns available. Laura Heine Collage patterns are also on hand.
The shop runs two Judy Neimeyer Paper piecing classes per year. There are also day retreats, and Sit and Sew times daily. Please contact the shop for class schedules and pricing.
Beth’s Quilting Quarters is the Oklahoma Innova Long Arm dealer. Long arm services to finish your quilt are available in both custom and edge to edge quilting. Long arm rental is available for free motion after completing a class on how to use the machine in a manner that is safe for both you and the machine. Please contact the shop for details.
