This is another wonderful shop in Oklahoma City, located along Route 66 just under five miles from Interstate 44. Owner Shelley Cloud celebrated the shop’s 13th Anniversary in January, and since she purchased it has also opened a second shop in Stillwater, Oklahoma, under the same name. I’ll catch that one later this summer if all goes well!
Fabric, fabric, and more fabric greets you as you enter this shop. There are over 5,000 bolts on hand, including some great selections for Stack-n-Whack. Smaller prints, solids, and blenders, as well as tone on tones, are also present. Quilting supplies also include wide backings, and over 50 different panels. There are jelly rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs here as well. Over 500 bolts of Christmas and fall fabrics are available year round. The shop also teaches smocking, and for that specialty carries a nice selection of lawn, seersucker, and batiste. All of you folks who sew your own dress shirts take notice! Also check out the quilt patterns and Kimberbell Machine Embroidery software.
There are a lot of samples hung around the shop, and this shop is unique in that if there is a sample, there is also a kit available. When the kits are gone, the samples are retired and new ones hung. Lacey the Service Dog is also in the shop most days. If she is wearing her vest, please be aware that she is working. If she is not wearing her Service Dog Vest, feel free to say hello to her.
The shop is a licensed dealer for Viking and Pfaff sewing machines, so do take a few minutes to check these out when you are visiting. Long arm services are also available to finish your masterpiece. Please call the shop for pricing and lead times.
Please plan to be here for at least twenty to forty minutes.
