Located just over a mile from Interstate 90 in eastern Wyoming, this bright and cheerful shop is a wonderful break from driving, if not a destination in itself. Owner Jackie Jolovich bought out her partner about a year and a half ago, but the shop has been serving the area for over 12 years. Parking is in front or around the back.
Fabric, fabric, fabric – lots of bright prints, solids, blenders, tone on tone, and a nice selection of batiks. There is Grunge in plain, dots, and stars. Just for fun, there is cotton that looks like cork. There are a lot of large (read Stack-n-Whack candidate) prints, and a great collection of smaller prints as well. All together, there are at least 1,500 bolts of fabric to tempt you at any given time, so plan to be here for at least 30 minutes.
There are also Quilter’s Select rulers, so if you need a new ruler or template, do check them out.
There are samples hung throughout the shop, including this place mat and table runner set and the quilts below. These come with patterns, and in some cases, kits as well. Of course, you can pick your own fabrics and make up your own kit to match your decor. Any one of the staff will be happy to help you with this if you’d prefer assistance. I love the feathers, and the moose peering in the window is just too cute!
