Just thirteen miles from Interstate 80, right over the border from Ohio into Indiana, is Tammy DiPasquale’s wonderful quilt shop. This was a “drive by” find; I was between cities heading back to the interstate. Look! A quilt shop! Must park and go investigate, and I am so glad I did.
This shop has over 2,000 bolts of fabric, and if you like Civil War fabrics – they have them all. Solids, blenders, and some great prints are also featured. Batiks are available, as well as a nice selection of wide backings. There are also Charm Packs and Jelly rolls to tempt you. Note the samples above every shelf; there are dozens in the store to admire and provide inspiration. Patterns and kits are available for many of them.
What do you do with a vintage crib that is no longer safe for babies? Make it into your sale bin, of course! There is a wonderful selection of fabrics here, and the pricing is quite attractive.
The shop provides long arm services, with two machines in house to serve you. Please call for pricing and lead times. You can select your wide backing when you bring in your top if you do not have one in mind already. There are some wonderful prints here that would make your quilt easily reversible.
Plan to send 30 to 40 minutes looking at all of the fabric here. Make sure you don’t miss the back room! Want to stay longer? There is a retreat center upstairs…
