Owner Cindy Kelly had a fabric store and a dear friend who had a quilting business. When Miss Iva passed, she merged the two businesses into Iva’s Machine Quilting & Sewing Center, and adopted the grandchildren. Located just eight miles from Interstate 40, this wonderful shop preserves the best of both businesses.
The shop has had some additions over the years, so be careful of the steps here and there They are well marked, but do watch for them – it is so easy to get lost in the fabric! There are over 7,000 bolts here, and 2,000 of them are batiks. That leaves a mere 5,000 bolts for solids, blenders, and prints. There is also a selection of Grunge, 30’s Reproduction fabrics, wide backings, and some homespun and seersucker. You will find Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Panels to tempt you as well.
Long arm services are available, and the shop is also a Brother Sewing Machine and APQS Longarm dealer. Repair service is available in house. If you are looking for a Long Arm System of your own, check out the APQS Longarm Machines. Don’t miss the samples throughout the shop!
