Located about nine miles from Interstate 43, this shop has been serving the area since 1973. Owners Brad and Wendy Kleman offer great fabrics and several brands of sewing machines, so this is a fun and busy store.
They also have a great collection of antique sewing machines. Check these out on top of the fabric shelves. It’s always fun to see what the latest and greatest machines used to be!
Fabrics include wonderful batiks, as well a s solids, blenders, and tone on tones. I saw some wonderful large prints, great for Stack- n-Whack or large focus blocks. There is cotton that looks like cork, and a great selection of cottons that look like tweed but are quilting weights. Designers Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, and Tim Holtz are among those represented. There is also a large selection of flannels. Civil War fabrics are also on hand. Check out the panels, and don’t miss the Christmas fabrics, available all year round. There are also strip packs, charm packs, and layer cakes. All in all, there are over 4,000 bolts of fabric on hand here. Wide backings are available in Minkee and cottons.
The store makes every effort to make sure every samples has a kit available, or at least a pattern. Samples are displayed around the shop, and are wonderful! I took this wall of smaller samples as a unit; all of these items have patterns and some also have classes. Please check out the class schedule on line for details. The shop also sells Oliso irons; do check them out if you are in the market for a new one. Don’t miss the rulers and notions!
Sew Much More is a dealer for Bernina and Baby Lock machines. Have you seen the Kaffe Fassett special machine yet? This is one of several versions I’ve seen, and if you are a “dyed in the fabric” Kaffe fan they’re a lot of fun. The shop also repairs all makes and models. Long Arm Rental is available after taking a class on operating the machine safely and correctly. Please contact the shop for more details.
