Located just under five miles from US 30 in the fun town of Bird-in-Hand, this wonderful shop was purchased four years ago by Sylvan and Lorraine Stoltzfus. Don’t let that fool you, though. There are dozens of years of quilting experience in the family and staff, so bring you questions and concerns and talk quilting and sewing!
There are at least 2,000 bolts of fabric here, with solids, blenders, and tone on tones in black, white, and ivory. Panels, including book panels, and large and small prints are on hand. Precuts including Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs, and Layer Cakes are available. There is a wonderful collection of batiks, and a room full of flannels. Backings are available in 108″ cotton and flannel, as well as 60″ Cuddle. Christmas, fall, and patriotic fabrics are available all year. There are also ribbons and trims to go with the clothing fabrics, or to embellish your quilt.
Check out the samples on display. There are patterns available, and the shop also sells completed quilts. Don’t miss the patterns! There is one for those adorable llamas. The collection of notions here is also quite extensive. If you love gadgets, be sure to check them out. Not sure what the gadget does? Just ask; one of the staff will know.
