Located just off of Route 2, and owned by Stephanie Christman, this shop is the first in the series I will be visiting along US Route 2. I decided to avoid the interstates and take the long way home. Route 2 runs between Interstate 90 and the Canadian border from Spokane all the way to the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan.
This exciting shop features fabric, fabric, and more fabric! With over 1,500 bolts on hand, there is plenty to look at. There are some great prints, suitable for Stack-n-Whack, as well as solids and blenders, including plain Grunge. Add to that a great selection of batiks and smaller prints. There are also wide backs, and a really nice selection of panels. Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, fall and Christmas, and Australian prints are also here. Cuddle, Layer Cakes, Jelly Rolls, and Charm Packs complete the quilt offerings. There is also a selection of clothing fabrics.
Don’t miss the samples hung throughout the shop. There are patterns and/or kits for most of these, and some also have classes. You can, of course, pick out your own fabrics for any of the dozens of patterns on hand, and help is available if you need it.
If you are missing any rulers or notions, be sure to check out their stock! I would plan to be here for at least twenty five to forty minutes.
