Located inside Urbana’s Sunnycrest Center just five miles from Interstate 74, this shop is a great stop, particularly if you are looking for a huge selection of wide backs. Owned by Zeba Iman, the shop is located inside the double doors and to the right. Sunnycrest Center is just behind the MacDonald’s, so when you see that you are getting close.
There are over 1,100 bolts of fabric to choose from here, including a wall of wide backs. With solids and blenders, Grunge in plain and dots, batiks, and a wonderful selection of prints, you are sure to find something you can’t leave without. Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, and Layer Cakes are also available. There is also a nice selection of kits and patterns, with samples to admire as well.
Make sure you get a good look at this offset Lone Star Quilt. It is beautiful, and very unique – I had not seen one like it before. It is only one of the many samples available for enjoyment and inspiration. Patterns are available for many of them, and you can select your own fabrics or buy a kit.
Long arm services are available, with two machines in house. Machine rental is not available now, but it may be in the future, so please call and check if this is something you’re interested in doing.
Everyday Quilting is a registered dealer for both Janome and Elna sewing machines. If you are looking for a new machine, be sure to check these out.
Classes are again being offered, with a limit of 4 students per class to maintain the appropriate distancing. Please check online or call the shop for more details. I was here for just under an hour; you will need at least 20-40 minutes to enjoy all this shop has to offer.
