Located just 5 miles from Interstate 25 in Albuquerque, this shop is tucked in the corner of a strip mall and a real gem. Owner Brandi Perea has been doing a fabric sale on Facebook Live on Tuesday’s at 6:00 PM for anyone not able to get out to the shops, so do check it out.
There are over 500 bolts of fabric to look through here. Kaffe Fassett is represented, and there is a selection of solids and blenders. Grunge is here, in both the solid and dotted version, as well as bright prints. Check out the wonderful Stack-n-Whack candidate I saw, complete with the Eiffel Tower! There is also a nice selection of batiks. Fat quarter bundles and Bali Pops are also available. Kits, patterns, and scrap bags round out the offerings.
There are lots of samples to enjoy. I loved the koalas enough to buy the pattern – but I plan to make the bears in batiks. I have used solids in three quilts in my life, and all three were for other people who bought their own fabric. For some reason, I never buy them for myself – they seem a bit too bland for me!
The shop offers long arm services, and has two machines in house. Bring your latest finish and see about having it quilted, or call for prices and lead times. There is also 11 needle embroidery available.
Plan to spend 15 to 30 minutes here.

I had to wait out a travel advisory in Albuquerque, so stop back on Monday and see what else the North American Shop Hop found!
