I asked owner Amelia Couture how a Massachusetts lady ended up in the Nevada desert. Instant response: “No Snow!” This shop, started in 2007, is located just eight miles from Interstate 15 in a small strip mall off of Sahara Avenue, and it is a fun shop to explore.
Fabrics include Shadow Blush blenders from Benartex, Fossil Ferns, Anthology Fabric collections, and many more. There are batiks, blenders, solids, and some rayon batik clothing fabric. There is a nice selection of prints, as well as wide backs to finish your project. With over 1,000 bolts on hand, you are sure to find several that really must go home with you. Embroidery supplies are also available, from threads to stabilizers to patterns to machines.
The shop does not do long arm quilting in house, but they are a drop off point for a local long arm quilter. If you have a special project, consider sending it here. The center detail at the right was done free hand by her longarmer, and it is stunning! The full quilt is shown below, and yes, there is a pattern!
