You will find this wonderful shop just two miles from Interstate 271 and 30 miles southwest of Cleveland. Owned by Karen Benke, I first “met” this shop at a local quilt show several years ago, and have been making the drive at least twice a year to shop here ever since.
This shop is my go to for a lot of the prints I use for Stack-n-Whack and “Just Can’t Cut It” quilts. It has one of the best selections of flowers and other prints in the area, as well as Grunge, blenders, and solids. There is a second room of holiday fabrics and selections on sale, with a lot of samples on the wall to give inspiration. There is also flowered flannel, so you can do flannel quilts that are not plaids – not that I have anything against plaids, but I do like the flowers for kids!
There is a great selection of rulers here as well, not to mention quilt kits and pillowcase kits. The shop also carries a nice selection of wide backings. Long arm service is available, or you can rent their machine and do your own stitching.
Little Red Quilt House is the local place to go for Memory Quilts. The shop will design a quilt for you using t-shirts or other clothing, to create a lasting memory of something in your past, like college or military service, or of someone who has passed. Please call for a appointment to discuss what would mean the most to you.
Plan to spend 30 to 40 minutes here when we are able to travel again. In the meantime, free to email or call and order from their 1,000 plus bolt inventory to keep you quilting in quarantine!
