Sew Much More is a quilt shop located in Sherwood, Arkansas, about four miles from US 167 (future I57).
Owned by Angela Peabody, the shop has been open in Pulaski County since 1996.
There were several people finishing projects from earlier in the week the say I was in the shop, including a jelly roll rug, a jelly roll tote, and a version of the adorable seahorse pictured at the right, pattern Ebba by Laura Heine.
Angela teaches frugality along with quilting. It is more reasonable to cut the fabrics you want for a jelly roll than to buy the roll, just as it is more reasonable to cut strips of batting than to buy precut rolls for jelly roll rugs. She could sell the pre-cuts – and probably make more money doing it – but her concern for her customer’s budgets leads her to teach a more reasonably priced approach.
The shop is a Singer and Pfaff Sewing machine dealer, and teaches sewing, quilting, embroidery and even painting! Check out he machines and the fabric, or just stop in and chat. If you want to learn how to do something, Angela will find someone to teach you!
Sew Much More also carries a large selection of embroidery thread, and around 3000 bolts of cotton fabric, including a nice selection of batiks. Check out the rulers and patterns as well – including our friend the seahorse shown above. This is one of several using the same technique of iron on applique that is held in place with the quilting. Angela is thinking of designing a lama, since there isn’t one in the set.

The business has disappeared. Does anyone know how to reach the owner as I commissed a baby blanket in November, she was in the hospital for a while and played phone tag with me for a bit now nothing. I just want to get the baby blanket I paid for.
I was there last fall and have had no contact since. The shop is now showing closed on Google. The only contact information I have is what is listed on the blog… Jean Heller
I was there last fall as well, i had over $2000 in Merchandise and cash at her store, and cannot get her to return messages on facebook, and she’s cancelled all the phones.
I commissioned a baby blanket with some cross stitching pieces in November
She said she got sick around Christmas time (I had paidher right before), played phone tag with me and now no contact. I have been to her home listed in ward and the new owner says I’m not the person looking for her. I just want that baby blanket…sigh
